Hi there! I’m Julia – avid reader, coffee lover, and Houstonian.

I spend my days pouring over spreadsheets and occasionally moonlight as a book blogger, but first, and foremost, I’m a reader. By way of reading, I’m able to stroll the gardens of Versailles, walk the moon, and live a hundred different lifetimes all before dinner.

I consider myself an open reader, but I especially love historical dramas, magical realism, and science fiction, as well as speculative and Eco fiction. Some of my favorite authors include John Boyne, Margaret Atwood, Jeff Vandermeer, Ali Shaw, and Eowyn Ivey.
